We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
- Handle any necessary paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and receipts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during deliveries.
- Assist with cleaning of equipment and prepping orders
- Operate dishwasher
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficient in operating various types of vehicles, including manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
- Strong ability to load and unload products safely and efficiently.
- Excellent route driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Ability to move items of varying weights safely, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
