SALARY : Starting at $66,847 (commensurate with experience)
SUMMARY : This position is responsible for administering and maintaining Orange County Property Appraiser Hybrid Infrastructure and assisting in the identification and resolution of problems that may arise during normal operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The essential duties of the System-Cloud Administrator include, but are not limited to the following :
- Responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring on-premises and cloud infrastructure using best practices.
- Establish and maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Implement and manage security policies and procedures to protect the cloud infrastructure.
- Responsible for administering and managing Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Develop and implement scripts and tools to automate systems workflows.
- Maintain on-premises and Azure Active Directory domains.
- Identify and resolve problems related to both systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Secure information systems enforcing organization security and privacy policies and procedures.
- Research and evaluate new products and services.
- Maintain system documentation of cloud infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : This position has no direct reports.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
Substitution : (Each year of required education may be substituted by two (2) years of work experience. Each year of required work experience may be substituted by two (2) years of additional education).
