About the Role:
As the Director of Corporate Business Development, you will be the driving force behind expanding our corporate affinity partnerships and enhancing our community presence. This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker and relationship builder who thrives on forging meaningful business connections. Reporting to the Chief Marketing & Retail Officer (CMRO), you’ll lead initiatives to accelerate membership growth and establish Orange County’s Credit Union as the preferred financial institution for employees of partner organizations.
What You’ll Do:
Corporate Business Development & Affinity Partnerships
- Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate affinity partnerships that align with our growth strategy.
- Develop compelling proposals and presentations to showcase the value of our membership benefits.
- Negotiate and structure partnership agreements to maximize engagement and brand visibility.
- Serve as the key liaison for corporate partners, ensuring long-term success and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and member services to create customized onboarding and promotional strategies.
- Analyze performance metrics to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
Community Development & Outreach
- Lead the Community Outreach Team in designing and executing initiatives that enhance our community impact.
- Build relationships with community organizations, nonprofits, and civic groups to expand financial education efforts.
- Oversee financial literacy programs that empower individuals and align with our mission.
- Represent Orange County’s Credit Union at key events, conferences, and public forums.
Leadership & Strategic Oversight
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team focused on business development and outreach.
- Develop annual goals, budgets, and KPIs for affinity partnerships and community engagement programs.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and market opportunities to refine and enhance our business development strategy.
- Provide regular updates to the executive team and board on growth initiatives and impact.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7–10 years of experience in business development, corporate partnerships, or community outreach, preferably in financial services or a credit union.
- Proven ability to develop new business leads, pitch and close deals, and manage long-term partnerships.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data and optimize performance.
- Passion for financial empowerment and community engagement.

What We Offer:
Monetary Growth:
- Final offers based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The range for the Director of Corporate Business Development role is $121,754 - $152,192 annually.
- 401(k) with a 3% employer contribution AND a dollar-for-dollar matching of up to 5%.

Salary : $121,754 - $152,192
