As a Mortgage Loan Officer for outside sales you'll self-generate leads be instrumental in driving our home loan business. You’ll achieve both the sales goals and service levels of the Credit Union by developing and maintaining strong partnerships by developing home loan business from third party sources with solicitation of real estate agents, contractors, home builders, financial planners, and other referral sources.
What We’re Looking For :
- Experience : At least one (1) year of relevant experience in home financing origination, with a solid understanding of modern and effective selling skills. And one (1) year of outside sales / self-generating your leads.
- Sales Savvy : Strong presentation and selling skills, with experience in building relationships with real estate agents, businesses, and other referral sources.
- Licensing & Knowledge : Successfully registered with the NMLS as a Mortgage Loan Officer, with thorough knowledge of mortgage lending federal and state laws, Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac guidelines, and loan origination / automated underwriting systems.
- Integrity : Willingness to undergo thorough background checks and credit check.
