Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Patient Care Coordinator who can also function as a Professional Relations Coordinator to join our practice. This role is essential in guiding patients through their surgical journeys while also contributing to the growth of our practice. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in patient communication, scheduling, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for potential and existing patients.
- Schedule consultations, procedures, and follow-up appointments.
- Provide detailed information about our services and answer patient inquiries.
- Help guide patients through the pre-op, surgery, and post-op phases, ensuring a smooth experience.
- Collaborate with the surgeon to ensure all patient care aspects are addressed and handled efficiently.
- Close cases by converting leads into scheduled patients, building rapport, and fostering trust.
- Ensure patient satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Administrative Support:
- Assist the doctor with various administrative tasks, including patient records, scheduling, and procedure-related logistics.
- Coordinate all aspects of patient care from initial consultation to post-surgery follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient files in the system.
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive patient referrals.
- Represent the practice at events and professional gatherings, promoting brand awareness and establishing partnerships.
Qualifications:
- setting (preferably in a surgical or aesthetic field).
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work closely with a doctor in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic health record systems (EHR).
- Sales experience or proven ability to convert leads into scheduled procedures.
- Understanding of facial plastic surgery is a bonus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
