What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus Driver position at Orange County Transit, LLC?
Orange County Transit LLC is seeking to hire for Full-Time, Part-Time, Route Drivers, Per Diem Drivers, Trips and Charter Drivers. Fully Licensed BPS or CPS School Bus Drivers.
Experienced School Bus Drivers can earn up to $31.00 per hour for a Big Bus and $29.00 an hour for Small Bus.
An average of 30 hours per week. Minimum 5-to-6-hour guarantee daily. Year-round work, guarantee 42 weeks per year.
Job Requirements:
- CDL Class B License with “P” and “S” endorsements and airbrakes
- At least 23 years or older
- Minimum of 1-2 years of school bus driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and DOT drug screening.
- Must have a clean driving history.
Flexible Schedules:
- Monday through Friday
- AM and PM Shift
- AM only Shift
- PM only Shift
- Per Diem - work when available
- Sports, Trips and Charter Drivers
Free “Behind the Wheel” Training Program:
- No Experience... No Problem.
- We offer free classes to help you obtain your CDL permit. Once you obtain your CDL permit we will train you behind the wheel to become a School Bus Driver!
- Must be willing to commit to employment for 6 months with the company.
