Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure high-quality care for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions.
- Provide preventive and restorative dental treatments, including fillings, crowns, and cleanings.
- Administer local anesthesia and perform extractions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatments using Epic or Eaglesoft software.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment options.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver optimal patient care.
- Uphold aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience in general dentistry; proficiency in pediatrics is a plus.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic or Eaglesoft is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
