We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine dental needs and treatment plans.
- Perform a range of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Administer anesthesia and manage patient comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize Dentrix and Epic software for patient management and record keeping.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience or training in oral surgery, dental extractions, root canal therapy, and general dentistry preferred.
- Familiarity with Dentrix and Epic software systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medical records management.
