Position Summary
The Material Handler's primary responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, kitting, shipping, cycle counting, and line stocking duties.
Position Responsibilities
- Minimum 6 months knowledge of warehouse functions
- Basic understanding of warehouse processes to support production
- Willingness to cross-train in different warehouse processes or production
- Must have good attention to detail to perform cycle counts as needed. Receives, moves/ locates, and pack outgoing materials, equipment, and other items from the warehouse
- Report damages and inventory variances immediately
- Loads and unloads materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles, manually or mechanically
- Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment, Hot and Cold
Position Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be a team player and willing to help where needed
- Employees must abide by all safety protocols and utilize all required PPE
- Prefer candidate with experience utilizing various equipment including Sit down forklift, reach truck, and Turret truck. Candidates should not have an issue with going up to 30 ft. on equipment
- The ability to lift, up to 75 lbs. position requires standing, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting for the entire duration of the shift.
- Work in a non-temperature regulated warehouse
