Special Education Teacher @ Randolph UnionRandolph Union is a 7-12 school primarily serving Braintree, Brookfield, & Randolph, VT. With a strong and supportive administrative team, progressive teacher leaders, highly regarded Project Based Learning Lab, a thriving Innovation Center, and a shared campus with the regional CTE center, RU is a dynamic place to be a special educator. We are seeking a new member of our special education department starting in the 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities include case management of a very reasonable roster of students; close collaboration with grade teams and our targeted support program; providing resource room academic instruction and social/emotional supports to students with a diverse range of skills; and serving as a teacher advisor in our advisory program.Qualified candidates will hold a current Vermont Special Educator Teacher Certification.
Expertise in literacy and/or mathematics is a plus, and strong communication skills are a must.
