What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Educator (s) position at Orange Southwest School District?
The Orange Southwest School District is seeking candidates for Special Education positions available at the early ed, elementary, and high school levels. We are looking for individuals that are innovative, energetic, and eager to learn/grow to work with our students and dynamic teachers. The OSSD invests in their educators and provides mentoring, professional development, and course opportunities. Candidates with a depth of knowledge in literacy, numeracy, intervention strategies, assessment practices and progress monitoring using student data to inform instruction is preferred, but not required. Experience with special education evaluations, IEP development and special education law are also preferred, but not required.
