What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Driver position at Orange Torpedo Trips?
Job Details
For many, their vehicles are extensions of themselves. After homes, vehicles are often one of the most significant purchases a person makes and the emotional attachment to vehicles is significant. Our vehicles are signs of our personal freedom and often even an outwards symbol we use to frame the way in which people view us and who we are. Basically, vehicles are a very important part of peoples lives and something they place great financial and emotional investment in. These people then entrust us with these important parts of their lives. They trust us to drive them on windy mountain roads filled with wildlife in the belief we will do our best to take care of their vehicle, as we would take care of our own. So as a shuttle driver you are a caretaker of something very precious and you are entrusted with a great responsibility.
When driving shuttles you are operating a vehicle on steep, dangerous roads filled with plenty of other traffic and wildlife. You are responsible for your own safety, but also the safety of the vans full of people driving the other direction on the windy mountain roads. You, as a driver, are responsible to ensure the safety of everyone around you while traveling.
