Looking for a part-time, temporary position allowing you to be outside enjoying amazing lake scenery? Then OWASA may have what you are looking for.
Seeking to fill two Part-time, Temporary Lake Assistant positions to assist with weekend operations of University Lake and Cane Creek Reservoir during recreational season. Assignment is from late March through early November working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, up to 29 hours per week.
Examples of Duties
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating mowers and other landscaping equipment.
- Renting recreation equipment to lake patrons and helping to enforce lake rules and safety.
- Housekeeping/janitorial duties of buildings and other areas as needed.
Typical Qualifications
Position requires exerting 50-100 pounds daily. Candidates need to have a valid NC Driver’s License and be at least 17 years old.
