Job Responsibilities
Teaches public speaking courses by providing systematically planned and delivered instruction; participation in professional development opportunities to maintain competency in teaching and learning strategies.
Teaching assignments may include both day and evening classes, online classes or hybrid.
Maintains records of students academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement and assign grades.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master's Degree in Speech OR a Master's Degree with 18 semester credit hours in Speaking, Rhetoric and Persuasion.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in face-to-face and online instruction.
