We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Sports Partnerships team. This role will focus on managing strategic partnerships, supporting programs, and maintaining strong relationships with athletes, sports creators, and other public figures within the sports community. The successful candidate will serve as a liaison to the sports community, planning and executing strategic initiatives across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage strategy, implementation, and optimization of partnerships and programs with athletes, sports creators, and public figures.
- Develop and execute innovative strategies for partners to drive business growth and success on platforms.
- Be a primary point of contact with the sports community, collaborating with internal cross-functional teams across, to build high-impact programs, partnerships, and solutions.
- Cultivate and maintain deep industry relationships, including with agencies, representatives, brands, universities and athletes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and execute strategic plans for key sports events and activations, ensuring maximum impact on platforms.
- Be an internal advocate, for sports partners, including with product teams. Work with relevant internal teams to ensure that, taking partner input into account in relevant product and policy decisions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, providing timely and effective support to resolve technical and operational issues, ensuring seamless partner experiences.
- Advocate internally for partners, ensuring their input is considered in relevant product and policy decisions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in the sports/entertainment industry, with a focus on digital initiatives and partnerships with athletes or public figures.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects on deadline.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to serve as a spokesperson.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
- Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally.
- Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the family of apps and services.
- Familiarity with the sports community and its ecosystem.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with performance tracking and reporting.

- Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
