We are now seeking a Technical Product Manager who will be responsible for product strategy, concept development, and defining and executing these initiatives in collaboration with our key stakeholders and partners in the Supply Chain. The role will deeply understand Blue Yonder WMS from both business and technical capabilities, identify gaps, and deliver product roadmaps for new capabilities.
A successful candidate will be highly collaborative, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization while wearing multiple hats, comfortable working autonomously, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high-quality, simple products and applications. As the subject matter expert for Supply Chain, the role will be a liaison to development, implementation, and support teams as well as support projects, enhancements, backlog, and prioritization of features and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in technical guidance and oversight.
- Assist in analysis, providing guidance and oversight.
- Develops and maintains relationships with business, vendor, and technology stakeholders.
- Configures system to match with process definitions.
- Provides thought leadership and asserts influence by driving small projects/initiatives to completion effectively and efficiently.
- Provides subject matter knowledge on the business, associated processes, and systems.
- Manage relationships with multiple vendors supporting Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
- Manages project interdependencies in support of business strategies, roadmaps, and financial commitments.
- Escalates issues and recommends appropriate solutions.
- Identifies product and process improvement opportunities by staying involved in product sustainment and customer feedback.
- Supports pre-project business case definition for large or complex projects.
- Manages product roadmap in terms of prioritizing initiatives relative to business needs.
- Works with the business to determine the real issue that needs to be solved or the opportunity to do things differently.
- Develops business cases to ensure benefits align to strategic and tactical business objectives.
- Supports the business in business, technical, and financial feasibility assessments.
- Manages business engagement and stakeholder management activities for large or complex projects.
- Creates or assists with the creation of technical specifications, schemas, data mappings, and user stories to enable system modification or development.
- Works with project team, business, and other stakeholders to align roadmaps and strategy, understand the business needs, define requirements, guide work, schedule it for release, validate stakeholder responses, and provide feedback.
- Ensures requirements are aligned to the business goals of the project and refined to a sufficient level of detail to allow Architects and Software Engineers to design, develop, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Assist in identifying high-level solution options for the business.
- Participates in reviews and sign-offs on solution designs, ensuring business requirements are verified, validated, and delivered.
- Combines business requirements into prioritized backlog grouped into project iterations in time to allow design/delivery to commence
- Manages the scope and traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that they are understood by the project team and met by the delivered solution.
- Participates in functional design, construction, and testing.
- Ensures the benefits, impact, and release of all changes are tracked and managed.
- Ensures the required outcomes are built, tested, communicated, and delivered on time and within budget.
- Assists in identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Assists in third party/vendor assessments and reviews contracts to ensure that they accurately support business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the implementation of demand/supply forecasting using AI/ML.
- Experience implementing Supply Chain Data Integration Platforms to provide for the seamless flow of information across connected systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of product management experience.
- 7 years of Blue Yonder WMS product expertise.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical product knowledge in Supply Chain.
- Experience leading discussion with senior leaders across business and technology.
- Deep Supply Chain experience in warehouse delivery.
- Experience driving product strategy and optimization efforts for supply chain spanning multiple lines of business (Merchandise/Food & Beverage).
- Understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps, and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD).
- Ability to think strategically and drive ideas into action, with a positive outlook and willingness to take personal initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, understand, and drive resolution of complex critical issues.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar field or related work experience.

- Participate in OP monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
