What are the responsibilities and job description for the Membership Sales Advisor position at Orangetheory Fitness Glastonbury?
Membership Advisors are the first friendly face that all of our new members meet on their first visit to the studio.
Their main goal is to generate new membership sales for the club while working on a sales team to reach individual, monthly, and annual membership goals for the studio. In addition, sales advisors create the first impression and continue building lasting relationships with current members.
Daily activities include: making outgoing phone calls, networking within our member base and local community, assisting current members with their memberships and providing an energetic and fun environment.
Our team thrives in a fast paced work environment. Advisors are also highly self-driven, energetic, friendly, creative and confident.
This is a performance based position where the more memberships you sell the more money you will make. Advisors are paid hourly but maximize their paycheck through our competitive commission.

Duties include:
- Making phone calls to successfully follow up on leads and book appointments.
- Attain personal and team membership goal by executing all areas.
- Calling member referrals that are generated from each new membership.
- Following up with missed guests.
- Builds excitement and value with the potential new member to ensure their first impression of the club is a good one, therefore guaranteeing they will join.
- Creates enough value on a first visit, therefore ensuring the new member will join.
- Mastering the telephone inquiry script incoming and first visit tour.

Education & Experience: Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
A strong focus on customer/client service
Related industry experience preferred (i.e. retail, hospitality, leisure, fitness, etc.)

Previous sales experience a plus
