Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including policy interpretation, strategic program development, compensation management, and regulatory compliance. The HR Generalist will also be instrumental in the onboarding process and the overall hiring strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists managers and employees in the guidance, interpretation, and application of corporate policies and procedures.
- Assists in the development and implementation of strategic HR programs, policies, and best practices that support the mission of the businesses and the overall mission of the Orano group.
- Advises management on compensation decisions to include: salary planning, incentive program implementation, job descriptions, and compensation reviews.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of the US compensation structure.
- Reduces legal risks and ensures regulatory compliance by developing understanding of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, ADEA, EPA, etc.) and partners with legal department as needed/required.
- Ensures successful first week for new hires by coordinating the new hire onboarding process, including scheduling new hire orientation and regular check ins.
- Supports hiring process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, resume screening, coordinating interviews with managers, etc.

Ideal qualifications
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher-level position.
- Experience with data analysis and mathematical modeling using excel. Ability to identify, research, and correct data anomalies. Ability to decipher large data sets and tell the story.
- Bachelor's degree in HR Management or significant equivalent experience, several years of experience in Pharma industry preferred.
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations, strong conflict resolution skills, proficient with Microsoft office.
