Job Description :
Position is for a Senior Management Analyst to help manage a contractor team in providing program management assistance, shipboard technical and repair assistance, work product tracking, engineering technical analysis, data collection and analysis, metrics, development and testing support, engineering development models, and logistic product development for Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia, Code 23.
Specific duties for the Management Analyst include :
Performing process flow mapping,
Identifying and removing non-value-added processes, and implementation of metrics.
Managing process improvement initiatives within the Naval Aircraft Carrier community, to include developing command level metrics and initiatives.
Analyzing Earned Value Management
Working with Navy Aircraft Carrier programs, organizations, functions, guidelines, and processes to help oversee the life cycle of the NIMITZ and FORD class carriers.
Required Skills and Experience :
Ten (10) years of experience providing business process improvement initiatives focused on U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier organizations to improve operations, productivity, and profitability, including performing process flow mapping, identification and removal of non-value-added processes, and implementation of metrics.
Three (3) years of experience with process improvement initiatives within the Naval Aircraft Carrier community, to include command level metrics and initiatives and Earned Value Management and process flow.
Knowledge of Navy Aircraft Carrier programs, organizations, functions, guidelines, and processes.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in business from an accredited university.
