What are the responsibilities and job description for the ENGINEERING TECH V position at Orbis, Inc.?
Job Description:
- This position supports NSWCPD Code 316 Planned Maintenance System (PMS) associated logistics products.
- This position supports Planned Maintenance System (PMS)/Class Maintenance Plan (CMP),
Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and PMS Service Request (PSRs), review of New Construction PMS Contract Deliverables, and PMS update and development for inservice,
modernization, new construction, and land-based engineering test site maintenance documents.
Required Skills and/or Experience:
- Should have fifteen (15) years of practical engineering experience in the operation, test, maintenance and repair of U.S Navy Ship Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) Systems and Equipment along with ten (10) years’ experience managing the shipboard Planned Maintenance System.
- Additional experience should include five (5) years of experience in contract and sub-contract management, budgeting, scheduling, planning, estimating, and reporting.
Degree Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be a US Citizen
- A secret security clearance
