What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Execution Manager position at Orbis Ops?
Orbis is seeking a full-time Training Execution Manager, with a background in UAS technology, to provide training and market research services to a foreign law enforcement customer. A successful candidate must work well in team environments, lead professional instruction, and be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision. This person will be expected to effectively interact with all levels of personnel within the client organizations. This position will require extensive travel, and candidates should expect to spend approximately 30% of their time working from the client locations globally.
This person must be detailed oriented, have strong organizational skills, and excellent instructor skills to include mission planning, exercise planning, and technology integration. Candidates will be afforded professional license opportunities supporting the program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be familiar with and equipped to train clients on law enforcement mission planning, use of autonomous systems, and the capability to detect and defeat autonomous systems.
Plan and implement professional education courses to increase awareness of basic best practices in mission analysis, targeting and operational support
Provide advice and counsel at all levels of client organizations on emerging technologies that would benefit the clients organization
Research and investigate autonomous systems and associated technologies to support the client.
Assist the program manager in preparing contract deliverables and assist in the establishment of annual contract objectives
Prepare Program of Instruction for joint law enforcement training and operations
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business, Leadership, or related field
o STEM degree preferred, but not required
Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience with leading professional instruction or minimum 7 years of demonstrable experience supporting professional instruction
Graduate of an either a professional military, law enforcement, or intelligence service planning course
REQUIRED SKILLS
Must be authorized to work overseas with international customers for periods up to 4 weeks
Experience with operational planning as it relates to interoperability and joint/interagency operations
Experience with autonomous hardware and software solutions
Experience with UAS and CUAS systems
Experience developing and implementing doctrine or Standard Operating Procedures
DESIRED SKILLS
Experience developing test plans, procedures, and reports in a joint and/or interagency environment
Experience with law enforcement investigations and international law
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings.
Ability to travel up to 30%
