What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst (TS/SCI with Poly) position at Orbis?
ORBIS is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team supporting a client in the US Intelligence Community. The successful candidate will perform data analysis and reporting in support of ad-hoc and standing client requests. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop organizational strategy and roadmaps specific to the client's needs that align to specific business guiding principles and provide recommendations for product line partnership and integration. The candidate will also be responsible for diving into various data sources, creating meaningful insights, and transforming complex data sets into useful information to solve customer challenges.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis and consultation for leadership through data collection, data analysis, and methodologies to inform decision-making and process improvements
- Provide recommendations to streamline processes and standard operating procedures, and other ad hoc functions, based on industry best practices.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or at least 4 years of work experience in benchmarking, metrics, and reporting.
Required Skills/Abilities
- U.S. Citizenship
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Experience providing guidance on capabilities and functionalities of Visualization tools.
- Experience creating compelling, interactive dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools.
- Ability to leverage multiple data management tools to organize relevant information and make decisions.
- Ability to translate complex technical findings into an easily understood narrative in graphical verbal or written form.
- Knowledge of data analysis and research design principles.
- Ability to translate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Skills/Abilities
- Demonstrated experience in the banking/finance industry
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings
- Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region
