As our synthesis and piloting lab in Princeton expands, we are seeking a dedicated Lab and Office Manage r to oversee critical administrative and operational tasks, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency.
Position overview :
The Lab and Office Manager will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Princeton office and lab. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of organizational, administrative, and financial skills, with a collaborative approach to working in a technical environment.
Location : Princeton, NJ (In-office, 5 days per week)
Required experience :
Lab Operations and Administration
- Manage inventory and ordering of lab and office supplies including creating and managing purchase orders.
- Coordinate with vendors, conduct initial research, and establish vendor relationships.
- Handle customer credit applications and maintain the U.S. supplier register, ensuring compliance with tax documentation requirements
- Oversee the shipment of samples for external analysis.
- Organize and oversee various cleaning services, e.g. laundry services and supervise cleaning staff as needed.
- Maintain safety training and OSHA compliance records.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facilities requests, co-ordination and management.
