The Role
We are seeking an experienced engineer to contribute to the design and development of our innovative carbon removal system. Based out of our laboratory and engineering site just outside Princeton, NJ, this role focuses on developing process engineering solutions that enable the efficient integration of direct air capture with data center operations. This role focuses on supporting pilot-scale testing through careful selection and evaluation of critical process equipment. The ideal candidate will combine strong process engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience building pilot systems.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment datasheets
- Develop innovative process solutions to enable successful first-of-a-kind technology demonstrations
- Size and select critical equipment based on heat and mass transfer requirements
- Develop detailed equipment specifications for pilot plant components including :
Heat exchanger systems
Skills and Experiences
Heat exchanger design and selection
Hands-on experience building and commissioning pilot systems
