We are looking for a family photographer to run monthly all-day outdoor photography sessions on weekends in Phoenix.

Job Description:

As a Family Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing authentic and emotional moments during our family photography events. You would be working approximately 1-2 weekends every month in different outdoor locations in Phoenix, and there would be opportunities to shoot private sessions as well. No editing is required as we complete this in-house.

You would need to be comfortable shooting up to 10-12 sessions (which run for 30 minutes) per day and own a professional SLR camera and lenses. You will have an assistant with you during the shoots, but it will be your responsibility to ensure the images are safely stored and backed up after the sessions. Since you need to travel to different locations in Phoenix, we do need someone who has a current driver's license and a car.

Skills/Experience Requirements:

-Use of own photography equipment

-Proficient with a digital camera and shooting in RAW

-Commitment to one weekend day a month

-Experience with taking family portraits and posing groups and children.

-Presently no editing experience is required, all post-shoot editing is completed in-house by our editor team.

-An artistic and creative flair and an eye for real-yet-beautiful family images

-Comfortable and confident organising yourself and your environments

-Collaborative, proactive, takes initiative yet able to take feedback and direction

-Enthusiasm and the ability to be a self-starter

-Driver's license and car.

-A Working with Children check (or be willing to obtain one)

We are looking for the ideal candidate to be available to start in one to two weeks.

Ticket/event/client and administration management are all looked after by our head office so you do not need to worry about this.

A portfolio to support your application, we will not be considering applications without examples of your work.

This role would suit a photographer who has their own business and would like additional weekend work. We work in conjunction with your availability so the role is quite flexible.
