Job Title: Right of Way Agent
We are seeking a full-time, exempt Right of Way Agent to work on projects in West Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Provide relocation assistance services guided by the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 and per project guidelines and regulations.
- Prepare real estate documents, perform basic property research for ownership and boundary information, and communicate with property owners and their representatives for relocations.
- Perform general administrative work including preparing legal documents, reports, and correspondence, attending meetings, entering and retrieving computer data, copying and filing documents for file management, verbal and written communications with customers, customer service, and related functions.
Requirements:
- 1 year of right of way acquisition experience.
- Active West Virginia Notary.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Dropbox).
- iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC's systems.
- Valid Driver's License.
