What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utilities Right of Way Agent - Ohio position at ORC?
ORC is seeking a full-time, exempt Right of Way Agent to work on projects throughout Ohio. The selected candidate will have the flexibility to work out of their home office but must be located in North/Northeastern or Southeastern Ohio and be able to travel about 50% of the time throughout the state.

What you will be doing:
As a Right of Way Agent, you will be taking lead on acquiring easements for large transmission line projects. These projects will bring a more reliable power source to communities through construction or upgrade of power lines. Will conduct advanced right of way negotiations with high-risk landowners. You will be responsible for preparing settling damages, real estate documents, performing property research, ensuring compliance with company standards, and providing construction support.

- Minimum of five (5) years of Right of Way acquisition experience
- Active Ohio Real Estate License OR ability to obtain within 60 days (License must be hung with ORC)*
- Active Ohio Notary OR ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems
- Valid Driver’s License
