The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user research methodologies and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles. You will work closely with our design, product, and education teams to gather insights that will inform the development of our educational tools and programs. This person will also have experience determining user samplings and the Agile methodology.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research using a variety of methods including interviews, diary collection, shadowing, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies.
- Analyze and synthesize research findings to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user feedback into the design and development process.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate research findings.
- Present research findings to stakeholders and advocate for user-centered design practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user experience research.
- Following Orca Intelligence methodology to complete the research in an Agile framework using our PAM methodology, Plan, Analyze and Manage.
- Use statistical analysis to review data from UX methods and translate information into a report to be consumed by stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in user experience research.
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact.
- Experience working in the education sector or with non-profit organizations.
- Familiarity with design thinking and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in using research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, or similar.
