Part-Time Position: Evening Shift
Starting Pay: $16 to $18/hour

Job Responsibilities
Daily Care
Provides daily care to patients including personal grooming and hygiene.
Supports patient care such as oral, denture and skin care.
Assists patients with daily activities like bathing, dressing and using the bathroom.
Medical Support
Assists patients in and out of bed and into a wheelchair safely using a transfer belt.
Takes vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, respiration) and records information.
Personal Grooming
Assists patients with personal grooming (brushing hair, trimming fingernails and toenails, shaving).
Turns patients intermittently if they are bedridden due to illness.
Care Documentation
Documents and reports patient health information, I&O, any change in medical condition and care given.
Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers as requested.
Understands and uses care plans.
Other Duties
Identifies basic food groups on sample meals.
Applies and releases restraints and provides exercise.
Practices proper body mechanics when moving or transferring patients.
Provides range of motion exercises for patients.
Recognizes and reports signs/symptoms of abuse and/or change in condition.
Properly documents according to established guidelines.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the State of Georgia is required.
