As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include providing daily care to patients, assisting with bathing, dressing, and bathroom activities, taking vital signs, and documenting information. You will also assist patients in and out of bed and into wheelchairs using transfer belts, support oral, denture, and skin care, and identify the four basic food groups on a sample breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal. To succeed in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the State of Georgia, and excellent communication skills. You should be able to respond to expressed concerns and answer questions professionally while displaying a helpful and caring nature.
