Summary/objective
The Food Service Worker (FSW), under the supervision of the Food Service Director, provides quality meals and service to patients, visitors and Staff
Pay: $21.00-$25.20
Essential functions

- Dishes desserts per menu spreadsheets
- Dishes salads
- Washes dishes, pots and pans and other items related to food service
- General cleaning of department to include kitchen equipment
- Stocking shelves with groceries upon delivery
- Prints tray cards and reports needed for service
Competencies
- Able to understand and operate equipment required for job
- Able to read and write in English and follow directions regarding recipes and patient diets
- Basic knowledge of principles of quantity food cooking and portion control

Work environment
Works in facility kitchen where temperature fluctuates based on time of year and kitchen equipment being used.

Required education and experience

- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- 1 year experience in a commercial food service setting
