We are seeking an Orthopaedic Surgery physician to provide both inpatient and outpatient coverage. This is a locum tenens request with immediate availability needed for ongoing coverage.

Location : West Virginia

Practice Setting : Outpatient, Inpatient

Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours Only

Coverage Duration : ASAP - Ongoing

Key Details

  • Scope of Practice :

General orthopedics, including total joints, fractures, carpal tunnels, and arthroscopies

  • Clinic and call schedule
  • Shift Details :

    • Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 : 30 PM

  • On-call coverage during clinic hours only
  • Open to alternate work weeks (e.g., 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off or split coverage)
  • Support :

    • No current mid-level support

  • Clinic staff available
  • One part-time orthopaedic provider in the community (4-6 days per month) for backup and follow-up care
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) : MediTech
  • Credentialing Timeline : Approximately 30-45 days

    • Required Qualifications

  • Board Certification : Must be board-eligible
  • Licenses : Active West Virginia license required

    • Additional Information

    This position offers a flexible schedule with various coverage options to accommodate locum providers.
