We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible General Surgeon for locum tenens coverage at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. This position includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with both clinical and emergency call coverage required.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population and contribute to the hospital's commitment to community-focused healthcare.
- Provide general surgery services, including laparoscopic procedures, appendectomies, hernioplasties, cholecystectomies , and other common surgeries.
- Participate in emergency call coverage for unassigned patients and the ED.
- Cover the clinic practice for an existing provider during their absence.
- Perform rounding for inpatient cases as needed.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Document patient care in the Cerner EMR system .
