MEN’S LOCKER ROOM MANAGER
Job Description
The Men’s Locker Room Manager is responsible for the execution of all daily service elements of the men’s locker room. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality or customer service with a demonstrated track record of providing proactive, professional, personalized service. This is a key staff position contributing to the daily member and guest experience at Orchard Lake Country Club, with success and compensation driven by the level of professional, friendly engagement with the members and the organized and consistent presentation of the locker room amenities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain an engaging, professional, and service-focused daily atmosphere in the men’s locker room, catering to both our members and their guests.
- Establish and strengthen professional relationships with club members with the goal of continually improving anticipatory, personalized service.
- Provide a friendly and professional welcome to each member and guest daily, including personalized locker tags.
- Implement and contribute club locker room “best practices” including shoe cleaning service (golf, athletic, casual, and dress shoes), locker service, food and beverage service, and other club-related services as needed.
- Maintain a consistently clean, detailed, and well-stocked locker room environment in keeping with club presentation standards.
- Complete point-of-sale billing of food and beverage services as needed using Jonas computer software.
- Maintain an organized master list of locker assignments in real time, adding and removing members as needed, and provide up-to-date billing information to the club accounting team for locker fees.
- Coordinate with the housekeeping and engineering teams for facility maintenance, reporting any issues or needs in a timely fashion.
- Conduct periodic inventory counts for food and beverage resources as needed.
- Facilitate regular laundry processes in conjunction with our vendor partner.
- Coordinate with the golf, racquet, and fitness staff to execute the locker room components of special events.
- Execute the periodic delivery of beverages on the golf course as needed.
- Complete seasonal and periodic locker room projects as needed.
- Assist in the hiring, training, and management of seasonal support staff in the administration of these services and tasks.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Basic computer knowledge, with training provided for specific programs.
- Golf knowledge preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift over 20 pounds regularly.
