What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist/Call Center Support position at Orchard Medical Center?
We are currently seeking a candidate to join our Call Center Support team for a busy Primary Care practice. The ideal candidate is a team player and possesses good people skills, is detail oriented, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and highly organized. Work schedule to be determined.
Preferred Skills -
* Provide Care and Customer Service to patients in a Primary Care setting
* Answer calls to schedule appointments
* Send messages to the clinical team
* Pull records from local hospitals or send medical record request
* Verify Insurance Eligibility
* Collect Payments & Set up Payment Plans (reconcile daily intake)
* Scanning & Queuing documents in the EMR
* Medical Terminology knowledge a plus
* Basic knowledge of computers and typing at least 37 wpm
Qualifications & Experience -
* Minimum 2 years experience in a Healthcare Setting
