Job Summary and Outcomes:
1. The Account Manager optimizes the revenue cycle through efficient billing, coding and claims processing to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
2. Maintain high levels of client satisfaction by addressing their concerns, providing regular updates, and ensuring effective communication.
3. Run system reports and prepare for distribution using advanced excel skills such as vlookups, pivot tables, macros and power pivot.
4. Track financial and operational trends for analysis and process improvements.
5. Generate, analyze and present regular financial and operational reports to internal and external senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
6. Utilizing operational reports, outline strategies for denial and rejection prevention.
7. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurers, and vendors, to optimize revenue cycle outcomes.
8. Leverage revenue cycle management software and other technologies to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity.
9. Continuously analyze and improve revenue cycle processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.
10. Identify and resolve billing and coding issues promptly to minimize revenue leakage and improve claim acceptance rates.
11. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the revenue cycle team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
12. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and operational excellence.
13. Comply with relevant regulations, including HIPAA, and adhere to industry standards.
14. Collaborating with internal and external leadership, employ strategies and skills to meet or exceed key performance indicators:
a. Total denials at 6% or less.
b. Clean claim rate of 98% or better.
c. AR > 90 at 10% or less.
d. Net Matched Collection Rate at 95% or better at 6 months.
e. Client Satisfaction at 95% or better.
Qualifications
· A GED or High School Diploma is a minimal educational requirement.
· Three-year minimum experience in revenue cycle management
· Highly efficient, with exceptional time management skills, able to prioritize assigned tasks.
· Strong ability to multitask, setting personal goals to achieve desirable outcomes
· Proficient in the use of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Ability to self-motivate, and to work efficiently both in a team setting and as an individual.
· Superior attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills in a business setting, both with direct reports and executive management

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
