Transportation Department / Full-time / 12 Month
8.0 hrs/day - 5 days/week (Monday through Friday) / 8:30 am thru 5:00 pm
ANTICIPATED APPOINTMENT: ASAP
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
This appointment is a competitive Civil Service position. A candidate must currently hold this title/classification to transfer or have taken the Civil Service exam #86335101that wasoffered on October 26, 2024.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Eligibility for a New York State Commercial Driver's License, Class- B" P/S" endorsements at the time of application; possession of a valid Class-B "P/S" license at the time of appointment.
- Qualified and certified as a New York State school bus driver and have all the necessary requirements of the applicable New York State motor vehicle laws and State Department of Education requirements at the time of appointment.
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years of age, per New York State Education Department regulations.
HOURLY RATE: $21.68/hour
