Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mental Health Therapist located in Des Moines, IA. The Mental Health Therapist will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents experiencing emotional and behavioral disorders. Daily tasks include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual and family therapy, and collaborating with other healthcare providers. The therapist will also engage in case management activities to ensure coordinated care and support for clients.
Qualifications
- Treatment Planning and Case Management skills
- Experience in Social Work and Mental Health
- Skills in providing Family Therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Licensure as an LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent in Iowa
- Experience working with children and adolescents is preferred
