The Role

As we scale, we’re looking for a strategic and results-driven VP of Growth & Customer Strategy to spearhead revenue expansion, deepen customer relationships, and position Orchard as an industry leader.

In this role, you will lead growth & product marketing, account management & customer expansion, and relationship-based selling & strategic client engagement. This cross-functional executive leadership role requires both deep functional expertise as well as proven track record of driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Growth & Product Marketing

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing solutions.
  • Lead account-based marketing (ABM) and demand generation strategies tailored to enterprise clients.
  • Collaborate with the product and client teams to refine messaging based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Position Orchard as an industry thought leader through content and events.

2. Account Management & Customer Expansion

  • Lead and scale a high-performing account management team focused on enterprise relationships.
  • Define and execute customer growth plans that maximize upsell, cross-sell, and retention opportunities.
  • Ensure teams deeply understand and proactively address customer pain points with strategic solutions.
  • Implement client service initiatives to enhance engagement and lifetime value.
  • 3. Relationship-Based Selling & Strategic Client Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and senior stakeholders in client organizations.
  • Establish customer advisory boards, executive briefings, and strategic workshops to strengthen relationships.
  • Identify and lead consultative sales opportunities that align with client business objectives.
  • Create a customer advocacy program to showcase success stories and drive referrals.
  • 4. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Align marketing, sales, product, and client service teams to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop a metrics-driven approach to measure customer retention, expansion, and satisfaction.
  • Lead training programs to equip account teams with tools and insights for strategic conversations.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration between growth marketing and account management teams.
  • 5. Business & Revenue Growth Strategy

  • Own expansion revenue targets and drive strategies to increase customer lifetime value.
  • Partner with leadership to shape pricing models, value-based selling, and growth forecasting.
  • Identify emerging opportunities based on market trends and customer feedback.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and optimize customer growth efforts.
  • Manage the sales & marketing budget, prioritizing investments for the highest return on investment (ROI).
  • Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 10 years of experience in growth marketing, enterprise account management, and strategic sales.
  • Proven track record of scaling enterprise customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of B2B market research, insights, or consulting services.
  • Expertise in product marketing, demand generation, and consultative selling.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and build relationships at the C-level.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM, marketing automation, and customer analytics tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and drive cross-functional alignment.
