JOB DESCRIPTION
Orchards Feed Ace Hardware, Clark County’s oldest locally owned, premier feed, farm, nursery, and hardware store has openings for full time and Nursery Associate positions. This is a 1-month temporary position with the potential to be brought on as a full time regular employee. Come be a part of our family and help to service the community we love. We have a great team and are looking for enthusiastic and outgoing people to join us. Candidates should be hard-working with a great attitude and willingness to learn. They should also love working with their hands and being outdoors.
We just built a new greenhouse and are looking for people to assist with the planting for lots of plants in the greenhouse.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plant care.
- Potting up plants
- Watering & Weeding
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Learn about all products in the nursery department.
- Move products throughout the property.
- Follow all store policies for safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- General knowledge of nursey products (plants, fertilizers, pest control, pots, etc.)
- Ability and willingness to take instructions.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work and interact with people of all backgrounds.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a background check.
NOT REQUIRED, BUT NICE TO HAVE
- Pesticide certifications
- Feed industry work experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish, Russian highly valued).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to regularly move and handle boxes, products, and equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend and lift regularly
- Ability to clearly communicate with others verbally
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE
- Full-time, Temp-to-hire positions available.
- Full-time employee hours range between 32 & 40 hours per week
- Primary schedule is Monday Through Friday
- Store hours are Mon-Sat 8AM to 7PM & Sun 9AM to 6PM
SALARY / WAGE
$16.50 to $17.50 DOE
