What are the responsibilities and job description for the Motor Assembler position at Orchid Monroe LLC?
Responsibilities:
Assemble and test Carter Motor Converter, Commutators, Armatures and Connections.
Assembly consists of utilizing hand assembly, hand fixturing, wire winders, and testers in the process of building stacks, and other components of Carter Motors, including Alstom style motors.
Follow packaging instructions to ensure completed orders are in compliance with shipping standards.
Ability to follow work instructions and quality procedures in the build of motors.
Ability to follow a schedule and meet efficiency standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Ability to Follow all safety requirements including use of PPE, Ergonomics and adherence to protocols to ensure safe production of motors.
Work effectively with co-workers and area leadership to meet weekly, monthly and annual goals for the department and wider business.
Escalate information to area leaders and supervisors as required.
Participate in daily communication meetings.
