a Brief Overview
The Engineering Technician I, Tooling performs engineering work related to the design of tools and equipment used in the manufacture and support of medical devices.
What You Will Do
- Assist in identification of tooling needing rework or maintenance.
- Perform hand and machining operations to perform minor repairs/modifications and part salvage.
- Design tooling using CAD software
- Builds tooling to be used in the manufacture of medical devices
- Plans and orders materials for tooling projects
- High School Or Equivalent (Preferred)
- 3 Years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment (Required)
- 1 Years of experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer/Designer (Preferred)
- Experience of the processes in the work area (Preferred)
