Ordr is seeking a UI/UX Software Director in Santa Clara, USA who thrives in a fast-paced, cross functional matrix and challenging environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Web Application model, Angular, D3, SVG, WebSocket, HTML5, CSS, React, Node.js
- Proficiency in programming languages like Javascript, Java, C , Python
- Good knowledge about Database, Communication model, Software Development BitBucket/GitHub, Atlassian/JIRA, NGINX
- 2 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of delivering successful software products.
- 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably leading a team of UI/UX designers and developers.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, as well as experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and advocate for design solutions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
- Nice to have – experience on Networking Protocols, Security and IOT
Responsibilities:
- Lead the UI/UX team in defining the overall design strategy and vision for our software products.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into elegant and intuitive user experiences.
- Interact with customers and customer success team to support and continuously improve our products.
- Drive the release process from concept to delivery, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and final implementation.
- Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all products.
- Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow and develop their skills.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in UI/UX design and incorporate them into our design processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design and development efforts and to advocate for the user throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Science with 7 years of relevant experience
