Job Responsibilities:
? Provide academic, career, and personal counseling to students.
? Implement and support social-emotional learning (SEL) programs.
? Assist students in goal setting, conflict resolution, and personal development.
? Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs.
? Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions.
? Support crisis intervention and develop student support plans.
? Monitor student progress and provide resources for academic success.
? Promote a positive and inclusive school climate.
? Ensure compliance with state and district counseling standards.
Qualifications:
?? Valid Texas School Counselor Certification (Required)
?? Master’s degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field
?? Experience working with middle school students preferred
?? Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
?? Ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and families
