Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Interact with customers to take drink orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
- Assist in creating new drink recipes and promoting special offerings.
- Uphold food handling safety standards to maintain a hygienic environment.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems helpful but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Knowledge of basic food handling practices is beneficial.
- A friendly demeanor with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
