Join our growing team in Hobart, IN as a production line operator!
Role Brief:
Based on one of the three lines, operatives are required to keep the line running through tasks such as placing bottles on the line, packaging products into their outer cases and cleaning and sanitizing the line.
Key Criteria:
- Efficiency expressed as a percentage of daily target, minimum 80%
Key Tasks:
- Operate tools, machinery, and equipment to produce goods and materials.
- Follow instructions and adhere to all plant safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a clean work area throughout the shift to ensure a safe work environment.
- Prepare and maintain materials and equipment at the start, during, and end of production.
- Works with entire production team to assist with manufacturing products from beginning to end.
- Ensures that all completed products are packaged and materials are correct according to product specifications
- Placing bottles onto line
- Placing Caps/Pumps onto bottles
- Packing Bottles/Jars/Tubes into outers
- Erecting/coding and packing single user cartons
- Stacking pallets in line with pallet structures
- Line Wash Out and Sanitization
Knowledge, Experience and Work Skills Needed:
- Experience in fast moving consumer goods environment, preferably food, personal care or pharmaceutical industry
- High attention to detail, ability to spot and rectify errors as they occur
- Ability conduct manual, repetitive work while maintaining high quality standards
Essential Aptitudes:
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels on an internal and external basis according to company and production needs
