What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Track Coach - Middle School position at Oregon City School District 62?
The individual accepting this position will coach Track and Field for the 2024-2025 season. This coach will possess high ethical and moral standards and be able to work under the guidelines and policies set forth by the Oregon City School District and the middle school track program. They should be an excellent role model for middle school student/athletes, establish rapport with players, teach the fundamentals and strategy of track and field and be supportive of all Oregon City programs. Special Requirements:
(training, specialty skills or previous experience in coaching track preferred)
- Ability to effectively communicate with coaches, administration, teaching staff, community members, parents and student athletes.
- Will coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved.
- Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
