What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campus Supervisor position at Oregon City School District 62?
Oregon City High School is a comprehensive high school with approximately 2,000 students, located in the suburban Portland/Metro area. We are looking for high-energy and creative professionals that will continue our collective focus on engaging all learners at high levels, while building students' foundations for the 21st century. We are an AVID Certified school and are also working with the Center for High School Success with a focus on ninth grade success. DESCRIPTION:
To be a resource for our students and provide a safe and secure environment on the high school campus during the school day.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to make some independent judgements with prescribed policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to a wide variety of assignments, and solve problems.
- Ability to communicate with appropriate student age groups requiring the use of both empathetic, restorative and disciplinarian approaches.
- Must have the ability to take direction appropriately, changing tasks as necessary.
- Ability and desire to work on a team.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, other staff, parents and students.
- Must have or obtain DPSST certification.
NUMBER OF HOURS PER DAY: 8.0 HOURS PER DAY
NUMBER OF DAYS WORKED PER SCHOOL YEAR: 186 DAYS PER YEAR
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $22.34 - $31.45 PER HOUR (RANGE 13)
