TITLE : After the Bell Support Staff
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 1. Experience in working with youth, youth development, camps, childcare, educational instruction or related disciplines. (Minimum 1 year)
- Personal attributes : Ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with children and adults. Ability to clearly communicate and problem-solve quickly. Patient and flexible with people and expectations as appropriate. Positive attitude.
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Card, CPR / First Aid certificates prior to employment.
- Must complete required ELD / ODHS training prior to employment.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, active, and changing environment.
- Bilingual applicants are desired, but not required.
REPORTS TO : School-Age Programs Coordinator and OCCE Supervisor
SUPERVISES : None
JOB GOAL : Support in providing an enriching and engaging after-school care environment for children in elementary school after school hours on all school days.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :
NUMBER OF HOURS PER DAY : 1.0 - 4.7 HOURS PER DAY DEPENDING ON AVAILABILITY AND SCHEDULING
NUMBER OF DAYS WORKED PER SCHOOL YEAR : 178 DAYS PER YEAR
HOURLY RATE OF PAY : $17.52 - $24.65 PER HOUR (RANGE 8)
