Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE :
Carry out program requirements of any assigned energy and water assistance program, with focus on providing assistance directly to clients and assessing and responding to additional client needs to promote self- sufficiency.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Reason position exists is to perform these functions) :
- Attend state program / network meetings as requested by supervisor.
- Be familiar with all energy & water assistance and weatherization programs.
- Maintain excellent records and client files.
- Schedule client intake appointments.
- Conduct energy assistance intake interviews.
- Perform data entry.
- Communicate with utility vendors.
- Ability and experience in working with culturally and ethnically diverse people of all ages, withoutregard to sex, race, religion, or socioeconomic level.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work on various tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, as necessary.
- Demonstrate ability to problem solve and make independent decisions.
- Work well with details.
- Maintain good organizational skills.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
- Regular attendance is a requirement of the position.
